Grace Fellowship Church believes in the Holy Scriptures as the only source of God's revelation to fallen mankind. Our beliefs are most clearly and fully summarized in the London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689, to which we fully subscribe. While the Confession is a document written by men and is therefore subject to error, we accept it as the most faithful statement of what the Bible teaches . Scripture is always our God-given governing Rule, which we will faithfully seek to follow in the event of any disagreement between its precepts and our Confession.
Our Constitution determines how our local church operates in this time and geographic location. Scripture establishes how a church is to worship God, but God allows a great deal of freedom in how individual churches follow His instructions for worship. The Constitution determines how we are governed, by whom, and how the church officers established by Scripture, elders and deacons, are selected. Our aim is to keep the Constitution in line with the Confessional standards we hold, but with both subject to the authority of Scripture. If our Constitution, a fallible human document, conflicts with Scripture, we will follow Scripture and change the Constitution as needed.
